Social Security Disability in Washington requires the same process and proof of disability as every other state.  If you read my website you should have a good understanding of how SSA will determine if you are disabled and you should learn some helpful tips as well.

On this page I will list the ODAR offices addresses for the state of WA.  This is were the SSDI and SSI hearings are held before Administrative Law Judges.  You do not apply at these offices.  You apply at the local SSA offices.  I list the locations of these local offices below each ODAR.  To get the address to apply you can call SSA at 1-800-772-1213.  If your claim is for Social Security Disability you can also apply on-line.  For SSI you have to apply in person.

If you are looking for a lawyer for your Social Security Disability or SSI claim click link below.  We handle cases nation wide but if you prefer a local attorney note this on the form.

May 2009 UPDATE:  Social Security has already opened two new National Hearing Centers and has plans to open two more to help reduce the waiting time to get a hearing across the country. These NHCs will be holding cases by video conference at some of the most backlogged hearing offices around the country. Of particular interest to those of you waiting for a Social Security disability hearing in Washington, there is plans to open a new hearing office in Auburn, WA. Hopefully, residents of this state will see a positive impact on the number of hearings being scheduled in the state. I do not know at this time when this new ODAR will open.
